I am starting a book at home to keep the pattern, a finished picture and a discription of who (and why) it was made for.

Very nice! I love the subtle colour gradations. Did you use LB Homespun? I love the feel of that yarn, but can't use it... it aggravates my carpal tunnel for some reason.
Yeah, it was the Homespun, I love it too. It took foever to get use to working with it when I first tried a few years ago. I started something, and just couldn't work with it and ended up not using it. This afghan is the first time I used it, well..I did make a scarf before I started this. To make sure I could use it ans stick with it...lol!
